"My vision is that every student in Calaveras County is able to choose their own productive path in life because of the effective and high quality education and opportunities they received while growing up in this wonderful rural community. Whether a graduate chooses to enter the world of work, technical school, college or military service, they will have the knowledge, academic skills and character needed to succeed."

Provide effective individualized support for Calaveras schools and districts for academic improvement and financial health.

Promote safe and welcoming school environments where all students and families feel a strong sense of security and belonging.

Provide services and technical assistance in addressing the growing mental health challenges school have seen in students in recent years.

Support student hands-on learning opportunities, career/technical education, family engagement events, and county-wide student activities.

Address with increasing effectiveness, using a continuous improvement focus, the needs of our most vulnerable students such as: foster youth, homeless students, expelled youth, and students with disabilities.

Foster increased collaboration between all CCOE departments, school districts, county government and community partners to increase school safety, improve student services and maximize available resources.
